Question
March 23, 2016 at 11:00 pm #64953@infoteamHi @selbedo, Make sure that you use a different “slug” than courses or it will still default to the Courses Archive. So if you create an All Courses page, make the slug something like /all-courses or /course-list and see if that helps.
@pallavi,
I submitted my original question on February 1st and it is now almost 2 months later and although 2 other people got replies to their questions in my thread, I have not received an answer to my question. Please respond asap. I’m considering using Social Learner for 100s (even 1000s) of sites, but if this is the type of support I can expect then I will look at other options.
Thanks,
EllenAnswers

AnonymousHi @infoteam, I apologize for the delayed response..please put the Shortcode
[ld_course_list]
in your page and it will display all courses in grid same as demo.Regards
March 26, 2016 at 7:26 am #65425@selbedo@infoteam thank you for your help. Unfortunately changing the slug did not make a difference for me, I still have the same issue where the courses page looks more like a standard blog homepage and nothing like the demo.
@pallavi I appreciate any help you can provide in resolving this issue – it clearly appears to be working for many others.
March 26, 2016 at 11:56 am #65476@infoteamHi @pallavi. Did you read my full original post and look at the screenshots? The problem is that I **already put the Shortcode [ld_course_list] in my page** and it DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE DEMO.
Please review this again:
I have installed the Social Learner child theme and all the plugins (including Boss for LearnDash), but my course listing (USING THE [ld_course_list] tag) doesn’t look right:

Mine says “See More” while the demo says “By ___ and #Lessons”.
I’d also like to remove the “Free”.

March 28, 2016 at 12:28 pm #65679@infoteamHi @pallavi,
I can see that it works for you, but that still does not explain why it’s not working on my site with an unmodified version of the theme and plugins:

Please let me know what needs to be done to make ours look like your demo.
Thanks,

March 31, 2016 at 10:55 am #66291@infoteamHello @pallavi,
Please explain what you mean by “thread url”? Here’s the website and page where the [ld_course_list] shortcode is in use and not displaying properly:
I have used css to remove the “free/price” tag from the upper left of the display.
Also note that the “Clarity Coaching Camp” item at the bottom of the page is not being generated by the shortcode… I manually coded that into the page.
Here’s another site where I have used that shortcode with the Social Learner theme and addons:
http://demo.ecoursesites.com/course-list/.I installed the BuddyBoss theme, the BuddyBoss Child Theme (Social Learner), Boss for LearnDash plugin, BuddyPress plugin, and BuddyPress for LearnDash plugin on both sites.
Let me know what else you need from me in order to look into this.
Thanks,

AnonymousHi @infoteam, I have checked you are using ‘Learndash Course Grid Plugin’ please deactivate that because we have already inbuilt functionality of course grid in boss for learndash.
