Time.ly Dropdown issue

I am a novice WP user and just getting started using BuddyBoss after purchasing it a few months ago. But two features I am looking for are in this post, so i’ll follow w/o being considered a hack if possible.
I have activated WP Theme Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Fifteen and the drop-down tabs for categories and for tags in Time.ly (2.1.9) does work, But they do not work in BuddyBoss.

TJ I thought you referenced another Events calendar that was included in BuddyBoss theme in another post, but do not see it again

@dadams-139 Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! Can you provide more information how to replicate your issue including the page you were on to experience the results and step by step instructions?

The other plugin was attached to Event Manages plugin and the calendar plugin was WP Fullcalendar but has not been updated in over a year.

I have turned my website back on for awhile, so you can see the dropdown issue with time.ly calendar

The drop down for categories, and tabs does not work with Buddy Boss, as I mentioned above I tried with WP Themes 2014 & 2015, and it worked fine.

As for just me, I’m not even sure if I will continue to use the time.ly plug-in, but other BBoss users might.
Im looking at the Event Manger now also and may use it instead, I guess w/o the WP Fullcalendar plugin ??

I’ll search for questions and answers later about Facebook Login or social Login, once I get thru some other basic stuff

Time.ly conflict with BuddyBoss Child Theme.
After looking into this a little more, I decided to stay with the Time.ly Calendar plug in, and also upgraded to “front-End Post” Option where users could add their events.
So far the only hiccup I see is still that the categories and tags menus do not drop down to show either one.
As noted in an earlier , i have tried and retried with WP Themes 2014 & 2015, and both of those themes the drop down menues for categories and tags works great. the only conflict seems to be with BuddyBoss.
I also found this thread on the Time.ly support so it may give folks at BBoss a quick direction to go to.

that forum mentions editing the css file. I did not try to edit anything yet in the css file, as Im a newbie at this stuff and dont want to break anything… just yet 🙂

maybe in the future i’ll try or if the folk at BBoss see that this is a real issue within your theme, they’ll fix it in the near future.

I’m still learning the ins and outs of WordPress and the BuddyBoss, so by no means dont take anything hear as a complaint! You have a great product and I’m looking forward to seeing what else I can do. Happy New Year

@dadams-139 I see the issue. I have forwarded it to our devs hopefully to be fixed pending if it affects the BuddyBoss theme 🙂
