Question
June 29, 2015 at 8:32 pm #41899@uproarmusichi
So im having some issues. just uploaded the whole theme and added some basic plugins (performance mainly)
i seem to be having an issue with the title bar check it out uproarmusic.co
so a few things are happening:
the buddy panel will not close
the title bar is overlapping the buddy panel so one of the menu items are missing
and the overlapping is covering the header text in the body.things do change(overlapping not the unfunctinal panel button) when i take out the logo. but the logo is the right size!
Cheers

June 29, 2015 at 10:43 pm #41901@uproarmusicso the buddypanel button not working seems to be the wp better minify settings
would like to still use this plugin as you guys suggested it in install, what do i need to do to make sure the panel can still open and close?
still getting overlapp and missing top menu item

AnonymousHello @uproarmusic, please send your site login details at [email protected], seems CDN is creating some issue
better minify need to be linked with your cdn service as well
https://github.com/wmark/CDN-Linker is the suggested plugin to work with itRegards
Varun DubeyJuly 14, 2015 at 6:28 am #42606@dbaylessI, too, am having a problem with the top bar overlapping the buddy panel and hiding a menu item. The Buddy Panel menu items include the following:
- Groups
- Forums
- Courses
However, the Groups menu item is obscured (see attached screenshot).
July 15, 2015 at 1:56 pm #42726@adjuviI have the same issue as W David, but only when I use images for the logos. The 280×80 and the 80×80 images.

AlyssaParticipantJuly 15, 2015 at 6:27 pm #42759@dbayless@tjchester The site was password protected, but I just removed the password protection. So, the site is now public.
July 15, 2015 at 6:30 pm #42760@dbayless@adjuvi and @tjchester: When I removed the 280×80 and 80×80 logo images, the top menu item in the BuddyPanel is now visible.
July 15, 2015 at 6:39 pm #42763@adjuvi@dbayless @tjchester Mine was private also, but making it public didn’t seem to change anything. Removing the logos fixes the alignment issue.
July 15, 2015 at 7:02 pm #42765@adjuvi@dbayless @tjchester I also noticed that the logo doesn’t load on the login screen. A related issue perhaps?
July 15, 2015 at 7:07 pm #42766@dbaylessI just noticed that the top menu item (“Home” in my case) reappears (albeit in icon form) when the BuddyPanel is collapsed. See attached screenshot.

AlyssaParticipant@dbayless @adjuvi these issues are related. We use a wordpress function getimagesize that requires public access to get the image size data, since this data is missing the height is zero when calculated but when displayed is forced to size. This calculation affects the header overlap issue. If you have any caching plugins this could be why you don’t see the change right away. It could also be a browser cache. Can either of you provide a link to your site with public access?
July 17, 2015 at 9:00 am #42859@dbayless@tjchester My site is
notnow pubic (http://humanscalebusiness.org). Thanks for taking a look!July 17, 2015 at 11:04 am #42867@uproarmusicHi again sorry for the lack of replies!
im still having the same issue too. http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/416054/8bb0e70338681579572fc625abbe815e
when you say public access do you mean the membership plugin i am using? if you just create an account ill set you ass admin if needed?
my logo is also no appearing on the login screen: http://uproarmusic.co/wp-login.php
i am also trying to use “custom login” plugin but no matter what i do i cannot get it to work. well i got it to work through editing the main theme but then i got an update so its got rid of it all! not sure how toachieve this in my child theme.
cheers for any help here! i really want to launch soon!
