    ok i have gone in and just changed some css, kinda happy with it for now.

    just out of interest do i just copy the file i have edited into the child theme folder? i just dont want to keep doing this every time i update!

    hopefully there is a more elegant solution!

    @dbayless @adjuvi does your host have allow_url_fopen set to on? This is a PHP setting. If not, this needs to be on.

    @adjuvi

    @dbayless @tjchester I turned on allow_url_fopen in php.ini. That fixed the login page logo, but didn’t change the issue with the overlap.

    Is there a simple way to override the issue with CSS? I tried this, but I couldn’t seem to gather all of the classes and IDs that are generated from the getimagesize function(s).

    I’d be happy with a solution that assumes the logos are exactly 280×80 and 80×80.

    Cheers, and thanks!

    @adjuvi unfortunately no, this is done in a custom function file that is not able to be overwritten.
    Would you mind trying another file type, say a jpg rather than the png?

    I have the developers working on a patch to atleast use a fallback value.

    @adjuvi

    Killer! Thanks! I tried a jpg, and a bunch of other crazy stuff, to no avail.

    @dbayless

    @tjchester, you previously asked whether my host had allow_url_fopen turned on. The answer is yes.

    @dbayless @adjuvi what plugin were you using for maintenance mode? Are you also using any minify or caching plugins?

    #42910
    @dbayless

    @tjchester – no maintenance plugin (used WP Engine public lockout feature); Autoptimize minification plugin (have identical problem with Autoptimize turned off or when using Better WordPress Minify plugin); no caching plugin (use WP Engine’s EverCache system).

    @adjuvi are you using WPEngine as well?

    @adjuvi

    @tjchester @dbayless @uproarmusic Hey, I fixed it! I had some uppercase letters in the filenames. (oops) With all lowercase, and no numbers (numbers may not be a factor) it works perfectly.

    And, to answer your question, I was running a totally barebones installation of boss, per your fabulous installation videos, in the attempt to hunt down this bug. I hope this fix works for James and Dave.

    Thanks everyone!

    @dbayless

    @adjuvi @tjchester Outstanding! That did the trick. I, too, removed the numbers from my uploaded logo filenames, and everything now looks great. (Note: I didn’t have any uppercase letters in my filenames, so numbers appear to be a factor, too.)

    I really appreciate the help. Thanks!

    That is very interesting news, Thank you very much for that. I would not have even thought of that. I will pass this along immediately.

    I seem to be having a simular problem with the Titlebar. The buddy panel overlaps the page when I active WP Social Deals Engine plugin. Can you advise of a fix?

    Many thanks
