Question

AnonymousI’ve been having an issue where the menu I assign to the titlebar doesn’t show all menu items. I can assign the menu to the buddy panel and they show there which is odd. Currently, however, I’m trying to set this up with the No Buddy Panel full width page template. For some reason, the only menu item that actually shows is the last entry in my menu, which is my About page.
Any idea what I’m missing here?

AnonymousAlso, that menu item, the notifications icon, and the profile link text is all white and that appears to have happened with the last update on the 11th. I’m not setting those links as white font anywhere so I don’t know what’s making that happen.

AnonymousI’ve finally figured out what the issue here is. If I use a menu that has a sub menu on one of the items, all menu items EXCEPT the sub menu one disappear. If i make that menu item not be sub level and refresh the page all menu items will show again. Make it sub level again and refresh and they disappear.
Can anyone else confirm when using the No BuddyPanel template and create a menu item with sub menu’s that the menu items that don’t contain sub items will disappear?
Also, the font color for the titlebar menu items using No BuddyPress template appears to be hard coded as white, preventing me from using a white titlebar background… Can this be fixed without custom css in the next update?

AlyssaParticipant@ionprojekt I’ll forward this additional information to the devs. Thank you very much for that detailed explanation of the issue.

AlyssaParticipantNo updates yet. Give us a week or so to release a fix, this may include new styling so it might take longer than a normal bug fix.

AnonymousWe added a patch in latest release, 1.1.0.
This was happening because we only support menus without submenus there (but we hadn’t disabled sub-items from displaying). We made it display all items and subitems in a flat list.
March 31, 2015 at 3:45 pm #38331@malecareHi on my Boss (v1.1.3) site in development, twiceasmany.org, I would like the titles of pages “leadership” and “press releases” to drop down from “about” but they only appear when clicking on the three little dots on the right side of the title bar. and the “leadership” page displays at level one rather than nested and dropped down from “about” I have the pages correctly nested in dashboard>menu
Also, clicking on the three dots leaves a persistent level two , e.g., the level two pages do not drop up again.
Thanks in advance.April 1, 2015 at 9:31 am #38351@malecareUpdate
I just installed Max Mega Menu plugin, which seems to give me close to what I need.April 1, 2015 at 10:32 am #38371April 1, 2015 at 10:34 am #38372@malecareYes, please continue to help me with this.
Unfortunately, I “spoke” too soon. The Mega Menu plugin works fine on desktop, but not at all on mobile. SO, I am back to my original issue…how to make the Titlebar menu behave as a drop down menu.April 1, 2015 at 10:43 am #38374@malecareMore…
On desktop, I would like the titlebar menu to have at least two drop levels or one “megamenu” level.
Then, for mobile, I would like the titlebar navigation to migrate to the sidebar/buddypanel, and then have the submenu or megastyle menu fly out, just as Boss is now set up to behave.April 2, 2015 at 12:24 pm #38435
