Uncaught TypeError: e.split is not a function

I am using a plugin called Sabai Directory, but am unable to upload any images to it. I contacted the plugin creator and this was the reply:

I see the following javascript error when trying to upload a file,
caused by a file named buddyboss-media.min.js. You will need to
contact the author of the file (or the plugin using the file) and let
the author fix the issue since this is stopping our javascript code
from being executed properly.

Uncaught TypeError: e.split is not a function
