User Blog: Sharing link on Facebook doesn't work

Hello,

I’m raising User Blog queries in here as the Social blog forum doesn’t allow me to post….

When posting a new blog on Facebook is shows the incorrect picture and in the description it says 404 page (see attached screenshot)

This may be linked to another issue, where sharing of Vendors shops shows the an incorrect product picture from another vendor

Hi @conscious-crafties
It will be better you set your og: values yourself
You can use Yoast SEO plugin to do that
It will allow you to add your own meta values.

At present all the values are auto generated.
You can check your generated values from

I don’t really understand that Varun :/

Prior to using the User Blog Plug In, images for my blogs worked perfectly fine when sharing and I had the Yoast SEO Plug In set to auto generate values prior to using your Blog plug in or One Social theme.

We also get a random product image for all shop links too since changing over to One Social along with many of my pages.

This is a bigger problem than just the blog posts and has only occurred since using One Social.

Please look into this further.

Why has this stopped working since changing to One Social theme?

These pages do not have a og:image in their source code

that’s why it’s displaying first image from the source code.

You can set your default og:image or you can also set your og:image per page with the help of SEO Yoast or any other similar plugin to avoid this.
