Question
March 7, 2016 at 8:26 pm #61984@stackstreetnewOn every registration, once a user registers then clicks the link in their email they are taken back to the site and the ‘successful verification’ overlay shows (as it should). However, upon the users first login, they then get the ‘oops, verification failed’ overlay, even though they are succsessfully logged in.
I have reverted back to the default template and disabled all plugins.

March 9, 2016 at 4:33 pm #62278@stackstreetnewi’ve tried this on two different hosts now, both with simply the stock theme and only buddypress, buddypress user blog, and buddypress follow activated.
Help!!!!
March 9, 2016 at 4:57 pm #62281@stackstreetnewI got this response from the support team at WPEngine. It may help you in fixing the issue in the theme:
“We were able to replicate the issue and found the cause of it as well. The issue occurs when you try to log in after successful verification because the argument containing the verification code is still in the browser’s address bar. This makes the site think you are trying to verify again. If you open stackone.wpengine.com in a new window after verifying and try to log in, the issue doesn’t occur. I would recommend trying to configure your plugin to redirect to a landing page after successful verification happens so the verification string is removed from the URL. Let me know if you have any questions”

AnonymousI have notified developer to take a look of it, We do not recommend WPEngine, it have lots of issues with BuddyPress. It also might be possible due to WP engine restriction.

March 23, 2016 at 12:29 am #64718@stackstreetneware there release notes @sagar? Is this the only fix contained in this update? I had created a workaround already, so if this is the only change i will wait until the next release as I’ve modified the onesocial.js file

AlyssaParticipantMarch 23, 2016 at 9:02 am #64836@stackstreetnew@sagar is it possible to list the files that have been changed moving forward? Items like ‘Code Cleanup’ make it difficult to know what to check when updating.
