Question
November 5, 2015 at 5:11 pm #50788@bcimHow does the vimeo link should look like so it can be used as an into video?
I use something like that https://player.vimeo.com/video/19534920 but it doesn’t show the watch intro button.
And is it possible to make this intro video autoplay for both vimeo and yt?

AnonymousNovember 6, 2015 at 3:21 am #50852@bcimIt works with “open” videos, but what about private one? And what about autoplay?

AnonymousHi @bcim
As per pattern after the url #t=0s will be added
RegardsNovember 6, 2015 at 12:42 pm #50914@bcimI’m sorry but it’s not clear for me. What pattern?
November 6, 2015 at 10:37 pm #50934@
Anonymousvimeo.com/19534920 is the regualar vimeo url and vimeo.com/19534920#t=0s for auto play
each url just need #t=0s
RegardsNovember 7, 2015 at 2:57 am #50941@bcimI’m sorry, but did you even tested this?
I doesn’t work, neither on my site nor on your sample site.
And please answer my whole question. What about vimeo privet videos? Video intro is for online courses so in most cases there will be an copyright issue with having it as a public video on vimeo.

AnonymousHi @bcim, I am making on the basis of what exactly Vimeo provide, you can consult with them.
https://vimeo.com/help/faq/sharing-videos/embedding-videos#how-do-i-set-videos-to-autoplay-or-loop-when-i-embed-them
They have also pro plans to keep the view domain specific.
RegardsNovember 8, 2015 at 4:55 am #51011@bcimFollowing your instruction (vimeo instructions) this is the link for iframe that you get:
for private videos: https://player.vimeo.com/video/99723074?autoplay=1
for public videos: https://player.vimeo.com/video/81082164?autoplay=1They are exactly the same, and none of them fits the pattern: vimeo.com/19534920#t=0s
Links shown above works perfectly for any working embed mechanism (like Advanced Responsive Video Embedder Pro).
I really appreciate your work, and I like your support, but with this ticket you are messing with me. Please test your advice first, and answer WHOLE questions.
As I understand your embed mechanism doesn’t work well (it doesn’t recognize proper vimeo links) so do not blame vimeo but repair you embed. I’m looking forward for this fix because today this (very cool) feature is useless for professional use.

RegardsApril 20, 2016 at 7:07 pm #69089@dreamresultHi there, I’m having similar issues with getting the Introduction video to work. I add the video to the video field as per your instructions above and indeed the ‘Watch Introduction’ button does appear on the course page. But when I select it, the header collapses and all I get is the link showing instead of the video itself (see screen capture). Help appreciated.

AlyssaParticipantHi Jon!
Could you PM me a link and login detail to your site where you experience the issue, so I can take a closer look?
April 21, 2016 at 6:35 am #69142@hichemHi Jon
I had the same issue as you; after numerous tries the following formats works for me, the issue was coming from white spaces when I was copy pastingthe url, so just remove the white spaces before the https://
https://player.vimeo.com/video/19534920
https://player.vimeo.com/video/93392814?color=ff9933&title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen
Hope it works for you
April 21, 2016 at 9:59 pm #69240@dreamresultThanks Hichem! Unfortunately that’s not the issue. Hopefully Paresh can see what is wrong when he logs in and checks it out.
