this is a major problem with everybody using this engine, when it is released for free with a theme, the theme developers have to follow the plugin updates, which they rarely do…

it’s better for you to use a plugin that update itself and is free, because VC is not free, so until you pay for it, you will have to face this alert when there is an update available.

Let’s hope BuddyBoss are on the ball and update VC very soon after updates become available.

I haven’t been able to use Visual Composer myself yet as it creates lots of white space on the page.

I’ve also heard it creates lots of messy code which isn’t good for search engines…

We keep updating it on regular basis.

We have extended license to distribute, if you need support from VC then you will need to buy your own license from Codecanyon
