wall plugin causing fatal error

I manually upgraded my website to 4.1.0 today and added wall plugin 1.1.2 and media plugin 2.0.3

I keep getting this message in my wordpress dashboard:
“To use the BuddyBoss Wall plugin, please manually update your BuddyBoss theme to version 4.0 or above first. Read how →”

it’s as if it’s not registering that BuddyBoss 4.1.0 is in there. It seems the media plugin is having the same issue.

The actual fatal error (found on the buddypress pages) is this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wall_add_likes_comments() in /home/harmonic/public_html/thinkwithyourheart.com/wp-content/themes/buddyboss/buddypress/activity/entry-wall.php on line 102

Please advise.

@optimystic to upgrade to version 4.1.0 you will need to completely remove the old buddyboss folder. Then upload version 4.1.0.

YES!! that did it thank you. resolved!

@optimystic and so you know 4.x theme and above have auto update notifications so no need to download and upload the new version any more!
