Question
February 8, 2016 at 4:12 am #58466@english24Hi,
Sorry, but, I’m pulling hair out here! I really feel as if I’m going round in circles!
Because I had two different people on the same profile to asked me to disable Caching. I’ve done that but now it takes 45 seconds to load any page on the website. I’ve also tried to make sure that the PHP/SQL specs are as you required. And, I’ve upgraded my hosting plan twice to try and get better performance. It’s not working at the moment.SL is a good theme and I have no choice but to stay on it, but, essentially I have a website which isn’t performing! Nobody will wait 40+ seconds for a page to load. The admin side of things is slow too.
I really don’t know what to do any more. Can you help please.

February 8, 2016 at 5:51 am #58478@english24I managed to find another type of caching solution which doesn’t create two profiles. Seems OK at the moment. Page speed is fine.
February 8, 2016 at 12:51 pm #58542@startupbrosWe are also seeing big problems with page speed/load times. Giving it a few days to make sure it is Social Learner, but very disappointing…

AnonymousHi @startupbros, You can enable caching on the site to improve the performance of the site. Take a look of this tutorial to get help.
February 9, 2016 at 6:20 am #58618@english24Thanks Pallavi. I’m using Siteground as a hosting company… they offer the following caching solution which if I try to use adds another profile to the existing profile. FYI… this is what they say on the website… (any chance this could be supported by you guys because I seem to have recurring problems on the d/b side of things…
The Memcached technology speeds up database calls, API calls and page rendering by storing data and objects in memory to reduce the number of times a database is queried. SIteGround is the only company that applies the memcached algorythm on a shared server environment thanks to its unique isolation methodology.

AnonymousHi @startupbros, @english24 You can enable all the setting and inside boss theme options you have additional options to enable minified js and css files
It will also help to speedup the site. Thanks
