AnonymousSeriously guys, 4 updates in the space of a month and for silly little things that should have been picked up by developers before a final release??
Enabled comment form for logged out users
Fixed slider responsive content issue
Fixed error with BuddyPress disabled
Fixed Slider issues
Fixed notices and errors
BuddyPanel displays in fixed position again
Showing logout link on mobile navigationThese aren’t just little issues for a live website but big issues, it takes only a few visitors to a live website to pick up on these above issues and boom they won’t bother visiting again. How many more updates are going to be released this month?

November 3, 2015 at 3:29 am #50462@noodweerbeI agree, the support and the updates need to go much faster. Like my topic yesterday on support forum with buddyboss (stil no reacties)… People pay 140 euro or more for this..
And please, make the header sticky into the top on mobile and tablet view!
PS: new updates on boss and working with a child theme, i assume we don’t have to worry those updates won’t affect or install on our child theme. I mean, updates on Boss parent updates some files on child too?

AlyssaParticipant@jerseypeeps I understand your concern but I hope you can see things from our perspective as well. We just added some HUGE functionality to the Boss theme. Things that have been requested for a very long time. With every major update there will be bugs. We can’t test every combination of plugins and themes but we do more extensive testing every day. The fixes listed don’t affect all sites, it may only be mobile iOS, or Android using the default browser, so don’t think all of these are as huge as they might seem. As a website owner you have the option to update right away or wait and make sure there aren’t any bugs. You should also test your site with every update, nothing extensive just to check functionality. If you find any bugs you can easily revert back to the previous version of the theme in your My Downloads area on buddyboss.com.
@noodweerbe you should never need to update the child theme. That is the purpose of the child theme, however, if you copied a parent file into the child theme we changed you will need to update that file. Ideally, all edits to the theme should be made via the functions.php file and not copying an entire template file to the child theme. But sometimes we require you to do so until we can update the code. Hope this makes sense.November 3, 2015 at 8:46 am #50501@noodweerbe@tjchester, thanks for the reply. I’m adding all my custom changes in the childtheme but what i don’t understand is the fact, will the childtheme be stable in the future if it doesn’t get the updates from the originally boss parent theme or do i have not to worry?
And good work with the new features in Boss / BuddyBoss
