    do you know where I have to place “content-type: text/html” in your theme?

    There are several plugin which help to send html emails
    you can try

    Yes, you’re right!

    But I want to use SendGrid as a SMTP service and created a HTML template and I have to place this snippet “content-type: text/html” somewhere.

    In combination with plugin Contact Form 7 I can place the snippet or respectively check the checkbox for it, but unfortunately only emails over this form have been sent right. All other messages who were sent with BuddyPress (comments, mentions, messages) have been shown in one line (concerning to the body text).

    Any ideas?

    Hi @thorsten, current version of BuddyPress have inbuilt support for HTML emails and from coming updates they have multiple email template support as well.
