Why BuddyPress Requirement

Why exactly is buddyboss a requirement for this front-end editor plugin? Is it just because of the bookmarks and recommendations functionality or is there a deeper dependency? I want to run this plugin on a non-buddypress enabled site, do you have any idea how much I’m going to hack up this code to pull out the buddypress dependency?

Hi @jeffcrossman, The concept we used in the plugin is to provide a functionality to site members to manage their own blog which is required buddypress.

Unfortunately..it will not work without buddypress.
