Question
June 8, 2015 at 6:27 pm #41115@jayellHi there,
I activated the child theme so that I could make css changes without affecting the parent theme, but when it was activated the menu and logo disappeared from the top bar. Have you ever run into this issue before?
Thanks,
James

AlyssaParticipant@jayell when using a child theme you will lose all customization because they are tied to the current theme NOT the parent theme. This is a WordPress fallacy. You will need to recustomize your site.
June 10, 2015 at 5:35 pm #41151@jayellI added the menu to the correct location and that is working now. However, I uploaded the logo, and it still isn’t showing…any ideas?
Thanks,
James

AlyssaParticipant@jayell that is odd. Is your site currently secured by a password? Can you post a link or PM me a link?

AlyssaParticipant@jayell I did not experience any issues with your site. It is either WP Super Cache or a local cache issue with your browser.
