Question
June 24, 2015 at 2:25 pm #41605@davejayHello,
I just purchased and installed your Social Learner package: Boss Theme, Social Learner Child Theme, Boss-Sensei plugin and Buddypress-Sensei plugin.
Things are working… sort of. It seems that forums and Buddypress profile and activity pages aren’t working properly. They either display a blank page, or – weirdly – display the text from the most recent blog post.
Below is a screen shot from what should be one of my course forums at /groups/drawing-basics/forum/ You can see that it’s not a forum, but rather blog post text.
Any idea what’s going on here? I’ve deactivated all plugins except: bbPress, Boss for Sensei, Buddypress, Buddypress for Sensei, Sensei and Woocommerce.
Also, is there a way I can reply to you privately with login credentials for my site (if you need them)?
Thanks,
DavidAnswers

June 24, 2015 at 3:18 pm #41610@davejayOne other note – the problem seems to right itself (mostly) if I deactivate the “Boss. for Sensei” plugin.
This is a password-protected staging site. PM me and I’ll send you the front end login info.Looking forward to using this product… It looks really promising 🙂

AlyssaParticipant@davejay Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! First can you check your permalink settings. Set it to postname and check your pages again. Would you mind emailing me a copy of your sensei plugin to [email protected]? I want to check the file differences in my version which is a couple version behind. Thanks!
June 24, 2015 at 7:28 pm #41621@davejayPermalinks are already set to postname. Just sent you the latest version of Sensei (1.8.5).

AlyssaParticipant@davejay Now that Sensei is up to date on my dev server I am unable to reproduce these results. I’m not quite sure what could be causing this but it can’t be a theme issue since pages are displaying the wrong information. Please email the description of the issue to [email protected] along with admin credentials and Varun will help you out.
June 25, 2015 at 9:14 am #41637@davejayAlright, TJ. Thanks for checking.
July 22, 2015 at 1:59 am #43122@icucI’m another BuddyPress newbie who is a LearnDash user who decided to beef up with BP! I am getting the same issue – I get nothing in Activity just the “Sorry, there was no activity found. Please try a different filter.”
I will also e-mail support.
Thanks
July 22, 2015 at 2:20 am #43123@icucOne other thought – I read a blog dating back to 2012 which suggests I may be missing a file in my activity folder – /activity/activity-loop.php – I don’t have that file – could that be the problem?
July 22, 2015 at 4:21 am #43126@icucOK – I think I have solved my problem – down to me not fully understanding what to expect in Activity. I posted to a forum and when I went back to Activity, I saw that post. Since then, further activity has appeared. So, I’m happy!

AnonymousHey @icuc, hopefully it will be clear for you 🙂
It is not compulsory to keep all buddypress legacy template files inside theme theme folder or child folder we keep only those which are modified for some customization.Regards
