Can't edit activity page

Hello, I am not being able to edit my activity page (which I also use as the front/first page). Could you advise?

For other pages, I get a EDIT button.

Hi Kueka,

you can find and edit it from the pages section- on the back end.

Can you test it and let me know if you can do it?

I have another problem, even after I edit it from the back end- the text or shortcodes won’t show up on the front.

@kuekawa the front-page is a template and is not completely bound by the edit page, you can add content and style it to the header but that is about it. You will need to edit front-page.php to edit the layout or template of this page.

@tjchester, is there a reason I cannot see my content on the activity page? I used to be able to see that, and I added this code too $custom_content = do_shortcode( get_the_content() ); to the content-buddypress.php (I copied it to the child theme)

@kuekawa from my trials, if the activity page is the front page you can add content (from the back end- pages)- it will show up before the “post an update” part and add a side bar and widgets to it, but that’s about it.

@milena shouldn’t be anything on the BuddyBoss end. The above code appears correct. If you are using activity as your home page then you should also edit content.php

my problem was solved by renaming the page (slug) activity again.
