Hello,

I’m trying to translate the theme but I faced a problem translating the strings in Sensei Buddypress plugin.

When I tried to translate ” %1$s completed the lesson %2$s “, A lot of things disappeared like: lesson image, lesson name, teacher name, ..etc. I even tried to remove the word “the” and faced the same problem. (Please check the attachment)

Thanks

Hi @anas-aljefry, I am looking for string issue, you can use loco plugin meantime to edit those strings easily, try that once as well.

Forums links missing condition to check for active status of Forum for Current Group. that’s why it is displaying forums tab even it is not active.

it is added inside boss-sensei/Templates/Sensei/content-single-course.php
Line 172
update it with following code

<?php if ( !empty( $group_data->enable_forum ) ){ ?>

<a href="<?php echo $group_slug.'/forum/'; ?>" id="nav-forum"><?php _e('Forum','boss-sensei'); ?>

<?php } ?>

Hello @vapvarun,

Any update on the string issue? I’m facing the same problem with loco plugin & poedit.

I just want to make sure that you understand the problem.

When translating the string “%s completed the lesson” to any other string (even in english), the lesson image, lesson title, lesson teacher, course name disappear.

@anas-aljefry

Hello @vapvarun

I think you missed my point. The activity is shown when translated but the lesson title, lessson image, teacher name, course name are not shown.

I’m not sure what update are talking about. I’ve tested on:

Boss. theme 1.2.1
Social learner 1.0.3
buddypress sensei 1.0.8

Please take a look at attachment to understand the problem clearly.

Hi @anas-aljefry, I have discussed with developers again
String translation fixes were done in buddypress sensei 1.0.8

For the display of lesson title, lessson image, teacher name, course name it’s still pending in our todo list.
