BOSS THEME – Header / Masthead size

I am desperately trying to target the correct css to set the height of the masthead/ header area, but nothing is seeming to work or override anything. How might i go about changing the header area t be a max height of 50 px?

I have tried to target:

header#masthead
.site-header
.header-wrap
.header-outher
.header-inner
#mastlogo

nothing changes the height of the entire top bar area as I require.

@caderial Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! Can you tell me what you are trying to accomplish, perhaps there is an alternate solution I can recommend?

All I really desire is to make the top bar (with the searchbox and including the corner menu logo) to be 50-60px height instead of 80. slim it down a bit.

@caderial there are too many elements at play here. This would be custom work beyond the support I am able to provide to you. You can use developer tools and inspect the elements of all involved header items and then the top margin of the main page content. You would easily need to adjust 10-20 elements to make this happen. Sorry.
