Question
February 8, 2016 at 4:57 pm #58570@schwarzaufweissI’m using User Blog together with “BuddyPress Docs” 1.8.8
I’ve disabled bookmarks in User Blog settings but got this view on my Docs page…Answers
February 10, 2016 at 7:47 am #58826@doodlebugbenGetting this also – “You haven’t bookmarked any stories yet. Save stories to read…” looks like it is taking over the except of posts, even when bookmarking is disabled.

AnonymousHi @doodlebugben,
sorry for delayed response
Please update the plugin and it will fix the issue.
It should not be visible for you on docs even you have enabled the bookmarks, it will display on blog post only.
RegardsFebruary 15, 2016 at 7:20 am #59280@doodlebugbenThanks for the update – still getting this issue when using Simple Events Pro (http://www.philopress.com/products/buddypress-simple-events-pro/) In the events list this generates the excerpt is still taken over by “You haven’t bookmarked any stories yet. Save stories to read later by using the bookmark button.”

AnonymousHi @doodlebugben @schwarzaufweiss, Custom post type support is not added yet inside BuddyPress User Blog
You can do some minor edits to avoid any buttons display on custom post types
Line 190 inside buddypress-user-blog/includes/bookmarks.php and
Line 588 inside buddypress-user-blog/includes/recommend-posts.phpis_single()
with
is_singular( 'post' )
I have notified developer to add these fixes in next updates
