    Hi there,

There is an update for my buddyboss theme but I need to put my customizations into a child theme before i update. I activated the child theme, but when I did so, the navigation and logo disappeared.

    Thank you,

@jayell that is correct functionality per WordPress. These settings are defined per theme in WordPress and is unable to transfer the information to your child theme. You will need to re-upload your logo and recreate your menu(s)

    Hi Chester,

I tried doing what you suggested and it worked for the menu, but not the logo. I added the menu to the correct position and it appeared, but when I uploaded the logo, it did not appear, so I still can’t use the child theme. Any ideas what might be going on?

    Thanks,

    JAmes
