AlyssaParticipant@david-csuni Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! Unfortunately this appears to be a BuddyPress or plugin issue. Our theme does not edit the group creation process. You may want to try disabling plugins to see if there is a conflict. If disabling plugins does not help please post to BuddyPress forums here: http://buddypress.org/support/
September 20, 2014 at 3:14 pm #31826@david-csuniHI @tjchester,
I thrawled the internet for the past two days looking for a solution to this – and i looked really hard!
Eventually after reading up on a server-side caching system know as Varnish which is enabled by default on my VPS host(Bluehost), i discovered that it some buddypress functionality as mentioned above.Bluehost kindly turned this off and it worked straight away – sooo happy!
Thanks @tjchester for your help anyways, i thought i should reply because im sure it is important if your development team know of this incompatibility.

AlyssaParticipant@david-csuni thank you very much for that information! I’ll try to get this added to our server requirements (to have it disabled)
