I’ve activated the Boss theme today. All seems well except for this error I get when viewing a members page.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_notifications_get_all_notifications_for_user() in /home2/mycommon/public_html/wp-content/themes/boss/buddyboss-inc/theme-functions.php on line 2351

Here is the code:

How do I clear this error?

@techtcr this is a BuddyPress function that should be available and defined. Please try reinstalling BuddyPress or updating to the latest version if not up to date.

@techtcr there is also a chance there is a plugin removing this function. Please check for conflicts.

Hi,

I’ve deleted and reinstalled BuddyPress,
I’ve disabled all plugins except for BuddyPress.
I cleared the cache in Firefox,
Open my website and sign in and the error message is still there.

What should I try next? I am not a coder but the code I copied looks odd to me.

Note: I am running multisite and I still have BuddyBoss active on the majority of my subdomains. However, the error does disappear when navigating to one of these subdomains.

@techtcr as I recall you are unable to provide admin credentials to your site? That would be the next step.

@techtcr BuddyPress is not active/installed on this domain. You can safely comment this line/delete it and I’ll make sure the devs fix it for the next release.

@techtcr Notifications are disabled in BuddyPress. This is a theme bug I will send to the developers for a fix.
