Global Search Plugin Issue

I’m having following issue with the search plugin, which is excellent btw.

My homepage is the buddy press activity page:

http://www.starry-night.nl and is called (in the header) Activity.

When searching the results are outputted on a page called: Site-Wide Activity i.e.:

http://www.starry-night.nl/?s=M13&no_frame=1

Problem or wish, the output page should be called Activity and not Site-Wide Activity.

Do you have any idea how to solve this one?

@mth75 the output page should be title “Search Results”. It appears that if your home page is set to the activity stream then the search plugin will only search for activity. This is definitely a bug I’ll have to send to the developers.

Hi @mth75, just for note
It’s a BuddyPress bug which reflect when you set a BuddyPress component page as homepage.

@vapvarun Hi Varun, thx for your reply, I forgot, indeed it’s a buddy press bug, solved in 2.4 see https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5087

But in the meantime, replacing the attached file in the bp-core folder (plugin folder buddy press) … works! I now see the search results page which I didn’t see before … marvellous!
