Hi, at my homepage, when you are logged in as a member the homepage slider shows. When you are NOT logged in, or logged in as Admin then the homepage slider disappears. Any suggestion how to solve this?

I uploaded two images below, one is logged in as a normal member (Logged in with Social Login) and the other image is when not logged in yet.

PS. In addition, when you are not logged in (Guests) there is a black bar at the top, how to disable that one?

Hi, on buddypress settings, I set “Members” as homepage too. When I create the page on WordPress, I set the “template” to “Full width”

The WordPress AdminBar is already “Off”. When you visit the site as guest, there is a weird black bar at the top. But when logged in as a member or admin, it disappears.

    Hi @johnnetr
On BuddyPress page, no need to select any page template for them, Keep them default.
BuddyPress page template are loaded on them. That’s page also do not render shortcodes thus if you will add shortcodes on it, it will also not work.

What do you mean? When I log in, the Homepage Sliders appears on the page with BuddyPress Page template “Members”. It works. I just want to make it works for Guest too.

    Hi @johnnetr

The BP placeholder pages are meant to be empty, 1.7 theme compatibility uses buddypress.php as it’s template wrapper.
Please check the codex for a full explanation.

    Template Hierarchy

It seems you have selected Members page as homepage, that’s why Slider is visible on it.
If you need to display slider on all specific page you will need to add slider code inside buddypress.php with conditional logic on which component you need to display it.
