Question
April 16, 2016 at 10:34 am #68603@rayelaI had assumed that there would be an option to charge listing fees for the products on the marketplace as that is a common model. Both Etsy and eBay’s listing fees are a core part of their models. I’m going through the video tutorials and so far I haven’t seen an option for that.
If this is the case, is there something you can create to make this happen? For example, could something be set up where vendors would have to buy tokens in order to list? We were not planning on taking a commission on sales as part of why we like this so much is that the vendors can choose to drive people to their own carts elsewhere. So, I was counting on the listing fees to bring some income into the marketplace.
We are set up as a collective where they each pay a monthly fee. The market will be an added benefit to being a member, but not all will participate in it, so it would not be fair to increase those fees.

AnonymousHi @rayela,
Current model do not offer charge per listing.
You can set commission per sale which have inbuilt options inside WC vendor options. It will need customization to charge per listing. You can also charge members to be vendor with the help of membership plugins.

Would you be able to do this customization if we wanted it? Any idea of how much it would cost?
