Remove header but keep Navigation?

When I was on Buddypress 3.0, I used the code suggested in this thread to remove the header area. https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/remove-header-but-still-have-main-navigation/

Since upgrading to 4.0 that code no longer works, can you suggest how to alter it to remove the white-space above the top nav?

@vincentka exactly what code are you using? It appears to work for me still.
