Site search in main nav

How can I implement a simple site search text field (right aligned) in the site’s main navigation bar? Something similar to the quick mock up I have attached.

@ccarmichael I just responded to a similar post here: https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/global-search-in-header/#post-36002
The only exception is that you will need to add the code within the nav tag in header.php
