Question
January 9, 2015 at 2:37 pm #34544@jgwolfensbergerHi guys,
I have two copies of my site on different domains. One is quiltersbug.net and one is quiltersbug.com – the site on *.net is a development site while *.com is live. (The reason we’re comfortable with *.net being available is that essentially, it’s no big deal if anyone stumbles on it right now).
ISSUE 1
========On quiltersbug.net, we easily changed the slider so that the the color of the text is darker. We have the exact same custom.css on quiltersbug.com, but the slider text color won’t change.
The weird thing is when we examine the element within the browser. Please have a look at the images to see how the slider title color code looks different for each site.
We have tried removing and reinstalling the BuddyBoss theme on quiltersbug.com but the lack of color change persists.
We’ve exhausted cache purging on the server and the browser level, waited hours just to make sure, but the color change issue persists. We have flushed and fully disabled all caching on the server side (Varnish, WP Rocket, and CloudFare), waited, etc. But it hasn’t helped.
ISSUE 2
========The slider at quiltersbug.net loads beautifully anytime the page is visited, but the slider on quiltersbug.com gets “stuck” as a bar at the top of the page and requires a page reload to make it appear. With the page reload, the slider comes up fine.
Can you see anything that I might try to address these issues?
Thanks guys!
James

AlyssaParticipant@jgwolfensberger NOTE even when caching plugins are disabled they still affect your site. With that being said, I see rocketscript on slide2 which I believe is the site with the issue. Appears you may have CloudFlare configured? And since the slider is javascript based this would make sense, and since it could also affect CSS this could doubly be related to the issue. Hope this helps.
