Stefan had several WordPress websites for each of their courses. This created a fragmented user experience, making it difficult to track student progress and manage data efficiently. When Stefan evaluated different platforms like Kajabi, Thinkific, and Teachable, he found they didn’t meet his needs for customization or the high-level experience he wanted for his students.

Some students were enrolled in multiple courses, requiring them to log in to different websites. This cumbersome process negatively impacted engagement. PLMU sought a unified platform where students could log in once to access all their courses seamlessly.

Stefan needed to know more about his students’ progress—who was completing the course, who was getting stuck, and where they needed help. The existing platform lacked the ability to track user progression and incentivize students to continue with their courses.

Solution #1 – Consolidating Multiple Course Websites

To solve the challenge of fragmented websites, we helped PLMU build a custom solution by migrating content from multiple websites into one unified platform. The new system was designed to enhance usability, enabling students to access all courses from a single login. BuddyBoss provided the foundation, allowing for the customization needed to meet PLMU’s high standards.

Using the BuddyBoss Theme and Platform, we were able to create a user-friendly, centralized course platform. With built-in functionality for member profiles and styling for LearnDash, the platform provided a cohesive, personalized learning environment.

PLMU wanted to enhance user engagement by making the learning experience more interactive. We integrated BuddyBoss’s features such as progress tracking, member profiles, and gamification. LearnDash’s GamiPress integration incentivized students with badges and achievements, while a custom course-specific leaderboard highlighted top students.
