How to Use the LearnDash “My Courses” Shortcode

Introduction

LearnDash provides a shortcode to display the logged-in user’s course progress. By using this shortcode, you can create a personalized dashboard where users can quickly see their enrolled courses and progress.

Using the Shortcode

1. Create or edit a WordPress page where you want to display the course progress.
2. Enter the shortcode:

[ld_profile]

Note: Make sure the shortcode is wrapped in square brackets [ ].

3. Publish or update the page.
4. Logged-in users visiting this page will see their enrolled courses and progress automatically.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

Q: The shortcode does not display anything on the page.
A: Ensure the user is logged in. The [ld_profile] shortcode only outputs content for logged-in users.

Q: Some courses are missing from the list.
A: Check that the user is enrolled in the courses and that the courses are published. Draft or private courses will not appear.

Q: The page layout looks broken or unstyled.
A: Verify that your WordPress theme supports LearnDash templates. If needed, use a page builder or custom CSS to adjust styling.
