How to Change the Text Color of an Active Emoji

BuddyBoss does not provide a built-in option to change the text color of an active emoji. You can easily customize this by adding a small CSS snippet through Theme Options. This guide walks you through updating the Active Emoji Text Color so your reaction counts match your site’s design without affecting inactive emojis.

Custom Workaround

1. In your WordPress admin, go to BuddyBoss > Theme Options.
   
2. Under Custom Codes, toggle Enable CSS to On.
   
3. Paste the following CSS:
   

span.like-count.reactions_item {

  color: #0029ff !important;

}

Note: You can replace #0029ff with any color value that matches your design.

4. Click Save Changes.
