Introduction
BuddyBoss does not provide a built-in option to adjust the username font size in the header bar. However, you can easily customize it by adding a simple CSS snippet through Theme Options. This guide shows you how to change the Username Font Size in the Header Bar, and we recommend testing changes in a staging environment or backing up your site before applying them.
Custom Workaround
- In your WordPress admin, go to BuddyBoss > Theme Options.
- Under Custom Codes, toggle Enable CSS to On.
- Paste the following CSS:
.bb-template-v2 .site-header .user-wrap.menu-item-has-children .user-link .user-name {
font-size: 24px;
}- Click Save Changes.
Standard Font Size: 24px
Example Font Size Changed: 50px
Troubleshooting and FAQs

A:
- Clear your site cache, caching plugin, or CDN cache.
- Ensure the CSS was pasted exactly as shown.
- Confirm that Enable CSS was turned on before saving.
Q: Can I use other units besides pixels?
A: Yes. You can use em, rem, or % values if preferred:
font-size: 2rem;
Q: Will this affect other text in the header?
A: No. This CSS specifically targets the username text in the header bar.
Q: Who can I contact for further assistance?
