Hide “All Members” Privacy Option When Uploading Documents

Introduction

BuddyBoss does not include a built-in option to hide the All Members privacy option when uploading documents. If you want to restrict this option and simplify the privacy choices for users, you can achieve this using a small CSS snippet in BuddyBoss Theme Options.

Custom Workaround

  1. Go to BuddyBoss > Theme Options
  2. Under Custom Codes, enable CSS
  3. Add the following CSS:
label.bb-radio-style.bp-activity-privacy__label.bp-activity-privacy__label-loggedin {

    display: none;

}
  1. Save changes

Any modifications like this are considered custom work. Please review our Support Policy for more information.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

Q: The “All Members” option is still visible. What should I check?

A: Clear your site cache, browser cache, and any CDN cache. Make sure the CSS was added under BuddyBoss Theme Options and that CSS is enabled.

Q: Will this affect other privacy options?

A: No. This CSS only hides the “All Members” privacy option when uploading documents.

Q: Can I hide other privacy options as well?

A: Yes. You can target other privacy labels by identifying their CSS selectors and applying display: none; in the same area.

Q: Will this impact existing documents?

A: No. This only affects the visibility of the privacy option during upload and does not change existing content.
