    tu utilises le fichier langue que j’ai distribué ? parce que nous avons fait plusieurs changements depuis une semaine, vu la sémantique… et je crois que plusieurs phrases vont être reconstruites pour répondre aux besoins de structure… ça j’attend Michael pour ça…

    Merci @jeanpierre
    Oui, j’utilise la dernière version 1.1.8, téléchargée hier soir, il y a 12 heures environ. Je pensais (j’avais mal compris) que les modifications avaient été effectuées vu que dans la note de release, il y a “Fixed language translation issues”, mais c’est vrai que ce n’est pas une erreur à proprement parler, juste un problème de grammaire française. Mais toi, tu as réussi à modifier le code pour que la grammaire soit bonne?

    #39983

    nah, la traduction que j’ai faite n’est pas incluse dans la version 1.1.8, elle devrait l’être dans 1.2…

    pour les structures de phrases, c’est que de la manip de codes… je suis un peu ferré en WordPress je dirais, alors c’est un peu plus simple pour moi. je devrais avoir suggéré les changements d’ici la fin de la semaine qui vient, vu que ça prend de vérifier quelques trucs et mettre les autres bugs à jour… je n’ai pas les mains dans les codes de Buddyboss, alors ça prend plus de temps.

    @milena

    @jeanpierre, can you please provide your solution here?

    #41589

    the script is just updated today, and a lot of problems were fixed in it, so i’ll have to look at the new sentences to translate them properly…

    @milena

    @jeanpierre I am using a different language, but have the same issues with “you posted an update” as in the french translation.
    I wish there was a way to go back to the way buddypress handles it – just @usename posted an update- nothing fancy.

    @michael, @tjchester

    this is exactly as @yann said

    Without buddyboss wall, we have “member’s name posted an update”
    With buddywall, we have “you posted an update” or “member’s name posted an update”, so always “posted an update”

    But in french, and maybe in other language, we need “you avez publié une note” and “member’s name a publié une note”

    please provide a permanent fix for this- a way to go back to the buddypress way of doing it- so we can put it into functions.php and forget about it!

    I can’t be dealing with this every buddyboss wall plugin update!

    #41592

    you can suggest it to the staff here… support threads is for bugs… do it independantly

    @milena

    Thanks for your suggestion @jeanpierre, but my issue is directly related to this one, and I have written it in my own thread already months ago. This issue drags on for six months at least. And this is a major bug.

    I have posted a high priority update to be able to revert back to “[member’s name] posted this” this should be in the next release of the plugin due out soon.

    The next release has an admin option to switch between using “You” or just displaying the Username, which should provide a solution for this issue.

    good, now i need that … 🙂
