Introduction
By default, WordPress—and thus the BuddyBoss Theme/Platform—relies on its core mailing settings to define the “From” name and address for all outgoing notifications. There isn’t a native BuddyBoss setting to override these defaults.

Q: An SMTP plugin still overrides the sender settings—why?
A: Many SMTP plugins include their own “From” configuration. Check your SMTP plugin’s settings and disable its sender override if necessary.
Q: Can changing the sender impact deliverability?
A: It can, if you use an unverified or mismatched “From” address. Always use a properly authenticated domain email (SPF/DKIM) to avoid spam filtering.
