The Group Navigation settings control how tabs appear inside groups. You can choose between horizontal and vertical layouts, set the default landing tab, reorder navigation items, and show or hide individual tabs. This manual walks you through each option.
Accessing Group Navigation Settings
To access these settings, navigate to your WordPress Dashboard, go to BuddyBoss > Groups, then click Group Navigation from the submenu.
Layout and Default Tab
Toggle Display the group navigation vertically to switch from horizontal tabs to a vertical sidebar layout. This is particularly useful for communities with many navigation tabs, improving readability and accessibility.
The Default Tab dropdown lets you select which tab opens first when a member enters a group. Available options include Feed, Members, Photos, Albums, Documents, and Videos, depending on which tabs are enabled for your groups.
Navigation Order and Visibility
The Navigation Order section lists all available group tabs. Drag and reorder them to control the sequence in which they appear inside groups. Use the toggle next to each tab to enable or disable it – disabled tabs will not appear in group navigation at all. The available tabs are:
