The Tutor LMS Group Sync integration connects Tutor LMS courses with BuddyBoss Social Groups, enabling course activity to appear in group feeds and allowing instructors to link courses to groups. This manual walks you through each setting area.
Accessing Tutor LMS Settings
Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard, go to BuddyBoss > Settings > Tutor LMS > Tutor LMS Settings.
Enable the main Tutor LMS Group Sync toggle to activate the integration.
Group Sync Settings
- Course Visibility: When enabled, instructors can link Tutor LMS courses to BuddyBoss Social Groups directly from the group creation and management screens, creating dedicated learning communities around specific courses.
- Display Course Activity: Controls which Tutor LMS events appear in group activity feeds. Enable individual events from: enrolled in a course, started a course, completes a course, creates a lesson, updates a lesson, started a quiz, and finished a quiz. Selected options become available on group creation and management screens for group organizers to enable or disable.
- Posts in Activity Feed: Enable Tutor LMS content types to post in activity feeds – Courses, Lessons, Quizzes, and Assignments. When enabling Lessons, you can also enable Lessons comments in the activity feed to allow members to comment on lesson posts. Courses, Quizzes, and Assignments do not support activity feed comments.
