Block, Suspend, Report for BuddyPress is a free plugin by Bouncingsprout Studio that adds three moderation tools to your BuddyBoss community: member blocking, admin suspension, and content reporting. Each tool works independently, so you can use one, two, or all three depending on your site’s needs.
The Block tool lets members stop unwanted contact on their own without involving you. The Suspend tool gives admins a front-end button to disable a member account without deleting it. The Report tool lets members flag activity, groups, messages, forum posts, and more, sending reports directly to your admin dashboard. A Pro version extends reporting to cover a wider range of content types and adds moderator roles, content pre-approval, and automated suspension thresholds.
The plugin works with BuddyBoss Platform directly. You do not need BuddyPress installed separately. BuddyBoss Platform acts as a full replacement for BuddyPress and bbPress.

Auto-Suspend Threshold
Set a report threshold so that a member is automatically suspended once they receive a set number of reports. Your community moderates itself without requiring you to manually review every complaint.
Email Notifications
Receive an email alert every time a new report is submitted. Stay on top of member complaints without having to check your dashboard manually, and respond to issues as they arise.
Suspended Account Preservation
Suspending a member keeps all their content, messages, and uploads intact. You can reinstate them at any time, unlike deleting or marking as spam which removes data permanently.

Setting up Block, Suspend, Report with BuddyBoss takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to get started:

Install BuddyBoss Platform
Download and activate BuddyBoss Platform on your WordPress site. Block, Suspend, Report requires BuddyBoss Platform and does not need a separate BuddyPress install.

Download and Install the Plugin
Search for “Block Suspend Report” in WordPress Dashboard, or download bp-toolkit.zip from WordPress.org and upload it via Plugins, Add New. Click Activate once installed.

Configure Block, Suspend, and Report Settings
Go to WordPress Dashboard, then BSR in the menu. Enable each tool individually: Block, Suspend, and Report each have their own settings screen. Set your report email address and optional auto-suspend threshold.

Test on a Member Profile
Visit any member profile on your BuddyBoss site and confirm the Block button appears for members, the Report button appears on content, and the Suspend button is visible to admins only.
