Admins create custom compliment types such as “Great Mentor,” “Helpful Post,” or “Thanks for the Advice,” and members send them to each other directly from BuddyBoss member profiles. Received compliments appear on a dedicated tab on each member’s profile, optionally post to the BuddyBoss activity stream, and can trigger a notification to the recipient. It gives members a structured, positive way to acknowledge each other beyond likes and comments.

Search for “BuddyPress Compliments” in WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New, or download the zip from WordPress.org and upload it manually. Activate the plugin after installation.
