The digest system bundles group activity into scheduled emails. Daily digests arrive every morning with all activity from the previous day across every subscribed group. Weekly summaries list topic titles from the past week, sent on a day you configure. Both formats use HTML multipart email with plain text fallbacks. Admins preview upcoming digests by adding ?sum=1 to any URL. Members follow specific discussion threads for instant updates even when subscribed to digest mode, or mute annoying threads while staying subscribed to everything else.
Group admins send broadcast notices to all members regardless of subscription settings, perfect for announcements that need immediate reach. The spam protection system prevents new member activity from triggering emails until they’ve been registered for a minimum number of days you set.
