Introduction
The Content Reporting feature in the BuddyBoss Platform allows members to report inappropriate, harmful, or unwanted content throughout your community. This moderation system helps administrators maintain a safer environment by identifying problematic content, automatically hiding reported items, and reducing spam or abuse before manual review.
You can configure these settings from Dashboard > BuddyBoss > Moderation > Content Reporting.

Enable Email Notifications for Hidden Content
Administrators can receive email notifications whenever content is automatically hidden due to reaching the configured report threshold.
- Locate the Email Notification section.
- Enable Notify administrators when content has been automatically hidden.
- Click Save Settings.
This notification helps moderators review reported content promptly and determine whether additional action is required.
How Auto Hide Works
When Auto Hide is enabled:
- Members can report content from the frontend.
- BuddyBoss tracks the number of reports submitted for each item.
- Once the configured report threshold is reached, the content is automatically hidden from community members.
- Administrators and moderators can still review the hidden content through moderation tools and take appropriate action.
This workflow helps reduce the visibility of harmful, inappropriate, or spam content
