What is Memberium?
Memberium is a WordPress membership plugin that connects your site to Keap, ActiveCampaign, or HighLevel. Instead of managing access through a separate membership system, Memberium uses your CRM tags to control who can see what on your site.
When integrated with BuddyBoss, those same CRM tags control community access. Members are added to BuddyBoss groups automatically when they receive a tag in your CRM. BuddyBoss profile fields sync bidirectionally with CRM contact fields. Forums are protected by membership level or tag, and profile types update based on membership status.
Your CRM becomes the single control center for both your email marketing and your BuddyBoss community. Any tag-based automation you build, from welcome sequences to renewal reminders, can trigger the right community access without any manual work.

How to Integrate Memberium with BuddyBoss
Setting up Memberium with BuddyBoss takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to get started:

Install Memberium
Purchase and download Memberium for your CRM (Keap, ActiveCampaign, or HighLevel). Install and activate it from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

Connect Your CRM
Go to Memberium > Settings and enter your CRM API credentials. Memberium connects to your Keap, ActiveCampaign, or HighLevel account.

Activate the BuddyBoss Integration
The BuddyBoss integration is on by default. Go to Memberium > BuddyBoss settings to configure profile field mappings and group assignment rules.

Map CRM Tags to BuddyBoss Groups
Set which CRM tags correspond to which BuddyBoss groups. Members with the tag get added to the group; when the tag is removed, they are removed from the group on next login.

Protect Forums and Set Profile Types
Use Memberium’s content protection meta box on your BuddyBoss forums to restrict access by tag or membership level. Assign BuddyBoss profile types to membership levels in the Memberium settings.
