The Android App Bundle Signed With the Wrong Key error can occur when uploading an Android App Bundle (AAB) to Google Play Console if the signing key used for the new build does not match the key Google Play expects for the existing app.
To fix the Android App Bundle Signed With the Wrong Key error, verify that your BuddyBoss Android build is using the correct keystore associated with the existing Google Play app. If you no longer have access to the original upload key and Play App Signing is enabled, you may need to request an upload key reset through Google Play Console.
Verify the Android Keystore
Make sure your BuddyBoss Android build is using the correct keystore associated with your existing Google Play app.
If you previously published the app using a specific keystore, do not replace or change the keystore when generating an update unless an upload key reset has been completed through Google Play.
After confirming the correct keystore is configured, generate a new Android Release App build and upload the new AAB to Google Play Console.
If You No Longer Have the Original Keystore
If you no longer have access to the keystore used for previous builds, check whether Play App Signing is enabled for your app in Google Play Console.
When Play App Signing is enabled, Google manages your app signing key separately from your upload key. If your upload key has been lost or compromised, you may be able to request an upload key reset through Google Play Console.
You can also contact BuddyBoss Support for assistance in identifying the appropriate next steps for your BuddyBoss App configuration.
Important: Keep your Android keystore, alias, and associated credentials stored securely. Do not generate or replace the keystore for an existing app unless you have confirmed the appropriate signing or upload key process for the app.
