An Apple Developer Account for BuddyBoss App setup can belong to another person or organization, provided you have permission to use the account. The account holder’s name and account information are not displayed directly within your BuddyBoss App.
If your app uses In-App Purchases, using your own Apple Developer account is recommended. Apple may require the account holder to manage banking, tax, agreements, and other App Store Connect requirements associated with In-App Purchases.
Using an Apple Developer Account
If you have permission to use another person’s or organization’s Apple Developer account, you can use that account for your app setup.
The account information itself will not be displayed within your BuddyBoss App.
Apps with In-App Purchases
If your app includes In-App Purchases, we recommend using your own Apple Developer account.
Apple may require the account holder to provide and manage information related to banking, tax, and agreements. Using your own account gives you direct control over these requirements and the associated App Store Connect settings.
